Ingredients
2 cups flour
4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
4 tablespoons melted butter
2 eggs
Preparation
Step 1
Sift together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Step 2
Stir in the buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs.
Step 3
Mix gently — do not over-mix.
Step 4
Cook on a hot greased griddle or frying pan until golden on both sides.
